Trent Lott was a Target by Flynt; Lover Denies It

Adult entertainment titan Larry Flynt's desire to find out any and all closet secrets about GOP politicians has had many successes. The recent revelation is that Trent Lott might have had relations with a 15 year old male escort. Lott announced his upcoming resignation Monday, and Flynt says he's received a lot of inquiries since. The escort denied it of course in an e-mail to The Huffington Post, as if there is no conflict of interest whatsoever. Who wouldn't pick Trent Lott's money over Flynt's measly little offered reward?

Trent Lott Bows Out

Everybody's favorite idiot in Congress is actually calling it quits. Trent Lott will be leaving his post by the end of the year, after which Mississippi will be able to vote in another idiot, albeit with much less clout in Washington at least. People will no doubt come up with their own numerous theories of why he decided to retire, but it really doesn't matter. The race-carders will do as they always do and only talk about him being a 'racist' for voicing his own displeasures a few years ago of the out of control non-Caucasian crime, but will ignore the bigger benefits of having him out of there. I guess his complete biased loyalty to Bush will somehow take a backseat to a few racial comments in the past, which certainly sums up the Democrats. When such a foolish and traitorous politician leaves office, it should be thought of as a good thing, but not when he/she comes from Mississippi. Now he will enjoy the many benefits of resigning after such a bad legacy, as he gets paid big bucks to lie about his career like all the rest of them have. Good riddance anyway.

Farm Bill Will Have to Wait Until Next Year

There is absolutely no way even the most crooked crooks in Washington can get a bill of this magnitude passed in such a short time. Liberals and their politicians are so spineless that they repeatedly support and practice the art of squeezing their controversial agendas where they don't belong. Farmers are literally at the will of the clueless politicians in Washington. They are not listened to, and are simply forced to adapt to whatever law is put in place. The 2007 Farm Bill might be moving ahead with some light 'debate' now, but there is hardly enough time to get such an important bill passed before Congress is done for the year, in large part due to the number of amendments, of which plenty will have absolutely nothing to do with agriculture.

Illegal immigration is one such proposed amendment that will be attempted to ramrod any sort of overly large public debate on the issue. The immigration bill that the Democrats and some Republicans want to pass will be much larger in size than any since the horrible full-scale amnesty earlier this year. Even the DREAM Act would have given amnesty to over two million illegals in the name of no more than 80,000 immigrant students, and would have clearly rewarded among others, the anchor baby parents that decided to undermine and take advantage of our laws. The immigration reform proposed in this farm bill will probably give amnesty to over five million, and I suppose it's the liberal way to bring it up in such an unrelated bill that will affect millions of legal working class American farmers. If or when it's decided that a bill will not get passed, the farm bill from 2002 will be put in place until Congress reconvenes next spring.

After a 10-day deadlock, Senate leaders agreed on Wednesday to debate farm bill amendments that could range from subsidy caps and Canadian cattle to immigration and tax law reform.

Majority Leader Harry Reid said he hoped only a "finite number" of amendments would be offered and said Democrats could limit themselves to five. Reid also filed a motion, due for a vote on Friday, to limit the bill to 30 hours of debate.

"The time is slowly evaporating," said Reid, to pass a bill. Roughly three weeks are left in this year's session.

Once the Senate acts, House and Senate negotiators must write a final version of the bill to send to the White House, which has threatened to veto each bill as it now stands.

It was unclear which amendment, if any, would be debated on Thursday, said an aide to Agriculture Committee chairman Tom Harkin, Iowa Democrat. The Senate began debate on the bill on November 5 and has deadlocked over which amendments to consider.

Reid and Republican Leader Mitch McConnell agreed to limit the Senate to the 264 amendments on file as of Tuesday evening. They did not agree immediately over which would be allowed but McConnell said, "This is a little, small step forward."

Bad Peru Trade Deal Passes Houses, Ignores Opposition

Democrat leaders in the House were right. They did have more pressing issues than impeaching a vicious, dangerous criminal vice president (who by the way happened to say the other day that Hugo Chavez was the president of Peru) who is quickly drifting into senility. They claimed that they had more important things to accomplish apparently such as the passing of a very bad "free trade" agreement that was agreed to by the leaders of Peru only after a Republican-led blackmail attempt that ultimately worked, and helped along the way by the Democrats using the fast track rule in Congress to move things along undemocratically. It will provide catastrophic results for citizens of Peru, and it's not good for Americans either. Pretty much everyone hates it. But that doesn't stop this government.

The main effect this will have on Americans (but not limited to) is the promotion of off-shore jobs, lack of confidence in how safe the food is that comes through unregulated, affect farmers of peas and onions among other crops, and it provides way too much power for the big corporations to do as they see fit in order to keep their big profits steady. The impact on the people of Peru will be much worse. Thousands among thousands will be displaced to other countries. The deal will put a stranglehold on almost all Peruvian farmers of crops such as cotton, some of who barely make it year to year already. They will be losing money just by keeping their farms going, much less have enough to feed their families. That is their only way of making a living there. It will also allow big pharmaceutical companies to come in and steal knowledge and easily available medical life forms that they will use to patent and take away from the people there that need it, unless they pay a very big price.

The flaws in these trade agreements are endless. If there are this many flaws, and so many people are against them, why are they being forced on us you may ask? You really just have to look at who benefits from it, both in the short and long term. But hey; the government will be able to increase their secret drug profits at the tax payer and poverty-stricken folks in the middle of these "free" trade agreements expense, all in the name of the war on drugs of course. The deal still has to be passed through the Senate, but they have more stressing issues to deal with to be bothered with hearing from any sort of peasant opposition, like approving torture-lover Michael Mukasey to be the new attorney general.

The House of Representatives on Thursday passed a free trade pact with Peru, bringing President George W. Bush to the brink of his first trade victory since Democrats took control of Congress.

The House voted 285-132 to approve the agreement, which was revamped earlier this year to include groundbreaking labor and environmental provisions. The final tally showed 109 Democrats and 176 Republicans voted in favor of the pact.

The Senate is expected to give final congressional approval to the deal by the end of the year. It locks in Peru's duty-free access to the U.S. market, while phasing out Peru's tariffs on U.S. agricultural and manufactured goods.

Tancredo Says His Days in Congress are Over

Tom Tancredo will likely join the growing list of politicians and former politicians ala Mike Gravel who come out against the lies of big government when he steps down from his seat in the House after the elections. After writing his book 'In Mortal Danger' he obviously has a lot to say that he knows he can't get away with saying in Congress. He is well-known for his embracing the truth such as welcoming Ron Paul as a bona-fide presidential contender. More and more well-versed politicians and big names are coming out against things like the New World Order and 9/11 lies, and I suspect a good man like Tancredo to be no different.

The five-term lawmaker said illegal immigration, his core issue, now has national prominence and he doesn't need to remain in Congress to promote it.

"The issue now has a life of its own and it doesn't need one particular person to champion it," he said.

"I feel my job, my task, has been completed. And I am very much at peace with the idea that if I'm not elected president then I won't be running" for another term in Congress, he said.

...

He said he wants to stay involved in public policy after he leaves the House.

Harry Reid Enacts Rule 14 For DREAM Act Amnesty Bill

A big question on many peoples minds this past week is not if, but when the Senate would bring back up the dreaded loop-holed DREAM Act amnesty bill. This morning, Harry Reid made the first move and enacted Rule 14, which permits the senator to bypass debate or committee procedure. He knows that if he allows the people of this country to have their say on this extremely heated issue, it will be killed again and again. There is a very good chance it could be brought up tomorrow on the Senate floor, but that is highly unlikely if the news spreads like wildfire, which wouldn't surprise me at all. The holes in the bill have been gone over plenty of times, so don't let anyone fool you over the betterment of kids' lives. All this does is reward their parents and families with amnesty just for coming here illegally and having numerous anchor babies. That 90,000 number the supporters been throwing around would quickly turn into millions. This bill has failed many times in the past, and it is still the same old dated and flawed bill it was then.

This proves that Reid and other members of congress insist that they know what is best, and that the American people have no say anymore. As you know, they have failed in that regard for way too long, unless you've been living under a rock with regards to the shape this country is in. It is time to bring liberty and sovereignty back to this country while we can. It is highly likely the bill will fail again when it's brought up this week, but only if Americans bring another firestorm on the defiant members of congress, which means doing the same tired out things you've had to do countless times already this year.

Horrific Reactionary Bill Introduced Against Columbia

Republican congressman (CA) and bogus neoconservative presidential candidate Duncan Hunter introduced a bill (HR 3675) into the House (Education and Labor Committee) last week that would actually prohibit any and all grants or contracts with Columbia University. This stems from the University allowing Iranian President Ahmadinejad to come speak last month, where he was treated like a man with horns. They revoked his invitation to speak only a year ago.

Hunter has attacked free speech many times in the past, and this is no different. The neocon thief is not proposing this because of Columbia's ROTC program, or any other garbage he brings up in the bill. That is just a smoke screen he has added in to make it somehow look more legitimate, and to garner a little support, which he won't get. Bush himself didn't even have a problem with Ahmadinejad speaking. Even he is not that stupid. Hunter is complete and utter scum of a politician who repeatedly attacks the First Amendment, and is only doing this because he doesn't like hearing opposing views. Either buy into his propaganda, or lose your free speech.

(1) Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for the destruction of the State of Israel, a critical ally of the United States.

(2) In January 2007, commander of Multinational Corps-Iraq, Lt. Gen. Ray Odierno stated that the United States had traced back to Iran serial numbers of weapons captured in Iraq, including rocket-propelled grenades, roadside bombs and Katyusha rockets.

(7) Through their invitation, Columbia University provided a public, prestigious platform on United States soil from which on September 24, 2007, President Ahmadinejad spoke and defended his wide-ranging support for terrorist activities.
As you can see, the bill is filled with nothing but lies and scare tactics. Some brainwashed mainstream media sheep are buying into it, but no way this bill goes very far. Duncan Hunter is a domestic enemy, and needs to be booted out of office. In his eyes, controversial speech should only be allowed if it is not in conflict with Israeli views. The more they think that, the worse it does for their "cause." Taking away our sovereignty doesn't help.
